jim_j2 9 Posted July 17, 2013 Ryan,Nice shot!Have you ever thought about processing some in B&W, for a more authentic look.Just asking, . . .Although I suppose you know that there were no camera's or photography methods as early as 1812, but there were some Artists renderings of a few of the battles. I do enjoy attending and photographing "battle reenactments," but don't get too discouraged when you find the photographs of them "don't draw much attention or interest in most communities such as here on PN." sketch_tbhotmail.com 11 Posted July 19, 2013 Thanks for all the comments Jim, I've been toying with some processing to create a wet plate sort of look. I'll post them when I get a chance. Its funny how easy it is to get caught up trying to get through your shots and missing little things that detract from the authenticity. Thanks again for all the advice. Link to comment

gajbarker 0 Posted July 25, 2013 You have some excellent shots of this re-enactment. Actually, it inspired me to take another look at some of mine from last summer which were taken at Lang Pioneer Village near Keene, Ontario. I also tried converting a couple to black and white. In any event, thanks for capturing my interest and best wishes. Link to comment
