1812 Reenactment, Firing Line

The battle of Chrysler Farm near Upper Canada Village along the St.

Lawerence. 200th anniversary this year and the soldiers took over the

area this weekend. Any comments or critiques would be appreciated.

Good timing. The framing looks good. It must have been a telephoto shot or were you able to get close. Anytime I've watched a re enactment they kept you a long way back. The re enactments are quite interesting and you can learn a lot about the era from talking to them. A lot are history buffs. Talking to the "doctor" is really interesting, when you listen to what they did and how they did things it's a wonder anyone survived. Regarding the photo the only thing I might suggest is to clone out the little bit of white at the bottom left.

Love the timing and especially the powder flash of the breech of that Rifleman in the far left of the frame! Both those muzzle blasts are fantastic!

I agree about "cloning" out the white areas in the bottom left of the frame. I'd clone instead of cropping to keep as much of the split rail fence as possible.
