I went to a place I've been before, but I took a new route.  I didn't even know there were any bridges in this area!

Did you notice the relaxed couple?  Thanks Ranga.  best, j

Without your help, I would've never separated the figures from the ground.  So many shades of green.  The orange in the stream paired with the light blue froth on the shoreline balances out your palette.

I didn't notice them myself.  Thanks Jeff.  The colours are wonderful, as you pointed out.  epd

There was once upon a time a small river without bridges, though where I loved to go and enjoy in bathing and eating tomatoes, peppers and white cheese! Those were the times of my childhood! Actually there were several such small rivers!

Best regards, Mr Kraft!

sound advice.

i returned there recently and the mud was like no mud i had ever seen before (with apologies to Star Trek).  it was as if someone had made several million litres of mud soup and poured it everywhere.  it was exhausting.

i was not going through that mud again.  i passed over the bridge (left side of picture) and into the unknown.  that was also exhausting.  didn't know where i was.

all-in-all a great day.  Thanks Pierre.  best, j

Hi Jamie, you have captured the light really beautifully here, all very natural looking and serene. I think the composition works very well leading the eye to the bridge. For me I prefer this version to the close up one. All the best. Sarah.
