Every now and then I take my Sony 75-300 kit lens to a MLB game. I've gotten a few good action shots but not many. I think you need one of those 10 lb. Canon or Nikon lenses and a camera that shoots many frames continuously to get top notch baseball shots. Minor league games are better because you can get a lot closer to the action. I now have a Tamaron 75-300 that is a couple steps up from a kit lens. You've inspired me to give it a try. Cheers, Jim
