scott_murphy5 101 Posted July 9, 2013 A superb image from the word go. The composition is excellent as are the colors. Wide angle lenses can add so much impact to an image when the stretch parts of the image which are close to the edges of the frames! Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted July 10, 2013 Excellent image. You may want to experiment with opening up the shadows on the foreground. Best to you. Larry Link to comment
stp 6 Posted July 10, 2013 Great positioning of your camera -- we know the sun is on the horizon, but you've made it appear as if all of the light is being generated by the lighthouse. I'll bet you have already opened up the foreground shadows. How far to take this is a very tricky question. We want to see detail, but we also don't want to turn night or twilight into day, something that could be done if you push the sliders hard enough. For my eyes, the amount of detail you've shown is just fine. I want to focus on the lighthouse and the sky, and the limited amount of detail you've shown on the foreground hill supports this, IMO.
