Umbria mon amour..

Such wonderful colors and composition.  I sense a long history with a hilltop village like this.  The cloud above and the red carpet of flowers below put the village in a natural context that is integral to the lives of the people.  Clouds with this texture can occur naturally, or they can be produced with a long exposure; I can't tell which was the case here.  Regardless, it's a very appealing photograph.
