I like the very tangible presence of mother and child and the natural expressions and body language. I expect the child to pick up a handful of leaves and throw them in the air! The surrounding environment pales into the background but without losing the autumnal mood.

Alf. You are right in your expectation. The child was going crazy with her fun with the leaves, gathering and throwing them up. I am attaching here another image. The mother’s expression shows her delight with the happiness of her child. IMO in the image posted earlier, the body language is more dramatic and the image lends for better composition.  I shall greatly appreciate a comparison by you and the PN community.

I am uploading another image of the child throwing up the leaves, in my folder ‘Children’. I have to wait for a few hours to offer it for critique. That is my limitation due to not being a subscriber to this site.
