Dave,

I love this shot because it reminds me of my many visits to Italy.  This is well composed with absolutely stunning colors.  This image works because you shot it in vertical mode (something I rarely do).  Bravo!

Adorable spectacle, I love those old genuine architecture pictures!  This particular one has great colors and is very well composed!

Best regards Dave!

This is a nice shot with great vivid colors. My only critique is about right side mass of rather featureless wall, and suggesting a shot from the more center side ( left movement of camera ) to include more parts of left wall.

Hi Dave, Its already been said how great the colors are to which I agree, but what I like about this image is its authentic feel or atmosphere. To me it permeates the image. Those small, narrow streets of many countries in Europe is well presented. Nice capture.

Holger

Well seen, captured and processed; very moody indeed!  I'll add to what everyone has said so far,  it brings many memories to mind of trips to small towns in Italy.  You saw and captured that unmistakable spirit of the place.

I really like this image Dave. I find that any image such as this, especially in Italy, where I hope to visit again one day, always intrigues me. I like the colors of the outside of the buildings and especially like the fact that I feel like I could walk right in and begin exploring! Well done!

I always like vertical shots of little narrow streets.  It makes this a more interesting capture.  Well seen and well captured.

Unlike most of the other comments about the color, I find this image seeming too saturated.  Did you kick up the saturation?  I would like to see it a little less yellow-orange.

Hi Dave,

Picturesque.

I am not a proponent of using F/14 with any short focal length lens , as there are no details developed with in the image.

However, like so many images that I view, it is the memories revisited  from another place that do have value no matter how the lens was used.

Best Regards, Mike

A fantastic image , I don't think it could have been improved on . You have managed to show the hieght while maintaining the verticals . Exposue is spot on and the light has worked in your favour . Very well done . Bill
