I'm struck by this -- she has a "girl next door" kind of smile.  It makes me think how thin our cultural difference are across the globe.

Very striking. Your image creates a strong sense that your subject is both interesting and interested in what's taking place at the moment. I've not been to Namibia (yet), but I've traveled fairly extensively in subSaharan Africa and I'm struck by the natural charm and grace of so many people there. I've recently begun adding a few portraits to my small gallery of African shots, and I hope to add a few more.
