The Pentax 43mm F1.9 is a very refined lens, with this series I was trying to play with the shallowest dof at full aperture in order to learn how to use properly this fantastic optical piece. I am happy when someone like you, with real deep knowledge, comment on this work. Thank you very much!

My intention was to make the bokeh (and noise as well) a protagonist of this composition, I am glad because you like it.

BTW, noise isn't added during post process, it is due to (high) 1600 ISO, the photo only was converted to BW and brightness adjusted

Yes, I have tested most every Pentax lens ever made, and certainly all the manual and medium format lens from my collections.

The 43mm F/1.9 is a well designed optical system . It resides in my lab now, but I might soon purchase it to add to my other Pentax fine lens. I will most likely adapt it to other cameras, as I have no Pentax camera bodies other than the early screw mount versions that are film based systems.

The Pentax 43mm F1.9 Limited is strongly recommended as a very fine lens, this is the equipment I do prefer for my out of the beaten path works. Do it, get it, you will be not disappointed my friend.
