The use of a wideangle focal length here does a great job of expressing the expansiveness of the scene. The colors are outstanding and you did a great job of holding detail in both the foreground and background. Well done!

Hi Tony, This one is breathtaking, like a postcard but better. I love the foreground, the reflection in the water and that enormous sky. It ran through my head to possibly take a little of the sky away at the very top, just a thought. I like the image very much as it is. Have a great day Tony.

Best Always,

Holger

You've gotta work fast in this light and you nailed it. Perfectly composed, great light. Luck favors the prepared, and you were prepared. Congratulations.

Amazing composition, Tony, with the repeating triangular shapes from top to bottom. Perfectly processed to boot. It's one thing to get a sunset like this but to pull it all together from front to back is impressive.

I accessing PN on a very slow connection and I do promise to respond in more detail at a later date.  I am very pleased that so many of you thought highly of this image. My sincere appreciation.

I don't do testing of lens but for what it is worth I used to set my aperture at f8 but lately I am using f13 on my Sigma 10-20mm - for better or for worse. When feasible I am trying to stay away from 'the ends of the zoom i.e. 10mm and 20mm
