LILYAM - the place where it all began, so very long ago. Lilies,

gathered and danced round the summer fires that burned constantly.

The drums beat louder, harder, the Moon shone brighter. Their

stamens rose gloriously into the air in Celebration. It was their time,

in that place where it all began, so very long ago. (this of course is

an Abstract, any visits and comments are welcome, many thanks,

Gail)

Maya.

Congrats my dear !

The grain, amongst many others, is fabulous.

Gail,

Well done. I like the symmetry & color palette.  Lines nice & bold, lots of subtlety in the image.  Thanks for this one.

A spectacular display of understated color and texture . . .  I love the patterns - looks like something one might see with an electron microscope - cell structure, or something even more basic.

My best always,

Of course not only the image captured my imagination, but the story did too!

"LILYAM where it all began, before the beast before the man

And when the little people came the land doth change and too the name

and so the fables spread and grew, of a land out there that no one knew

where giants were bound both hand and foot, in a land now known as

 LILLIPUT"

Enticing creativity Gail!

Compliments & Best Regards

When I was writing the forward, I was thinking of you, hoping I could think of some prose like you would write. And here you are, and you wrote such lovely 'prose'!! Thank you so much Alf for your visit and lovely words!!!Lilliput sound so much better!!

Sincere regards, Gail

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this Abstract, I liked the texture as well, I almost put something in the Title that had to do with a 'blanket' as it reminded me of the texture of a blanket.

These manipulations are good and frequently evoke dark or pagan images. This good be a tiki god on some lost Pacific atoll.

I quote you:

"Florin

Actually you were the FIRST to comment!!! Thanks for coming back though!!"

I don't have amnesia.

But I commented first and I was mentioned last.

The truth stays in details...

Nevermind :)

Actually, when I have to catch up on comments, I find it easier to go from the last comment I see up to the others. If you are mentioned last, I think you would see that comment sooner!!! But that is only the way I think which if probably BACKWARDS anyways. But I would never FORGET you Florin! I actually thanked you just above your comment of 'last but not least' when I thanked Ruud as well. Is there still a full moon or something???
