scott_murphy5 101 Posted June 23, 2013 I shot this one Saturday night (good thing because tonight it is cloudy) around 11 pm. I used a D700 and my 600mm f/4 ED-IF AIS Nikkor and TC-300 on a steady tripod. The exposure for the moon is the same as the "Bright Sunny Day" rule of thumb; 1/ASA @ f/16 so I set the shutter speed at 1/100 and f/8 (to account for the 2 stop loss with the TC) and the exposure was perfect.
