Several iterations of Shadows/HIghlights filter in tandem with Levelsadjustments in Photoshop have begun to affect color accuracy here, butthe positive side is that the parts that were formerly in the shadowsare now not only visible, but seem to be glowing. Exactly what theeye saw over two years ago when I shot this? I have no idea, but I amsure that the eye's dynamic range is better than the camera's. Comments welcome.

Hi Lannie,

I figured that you were trying to get me excited by posting an image of a meteorite that you had found  !!!

Yes, there are many factors that effect eye sight, but the eye can outperform many cameras in dynamic range when the level of light is high enough for the eye to respond . In spectral cases, the camera begins to have an edge, especially at very low light levels.

Nice presentation.

Best Regards my friend, Mike
