GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 16, 2013 An excellent capture, she is truly joyous. Was this a scan of the image, or was the negative scratched in spots. (please forgive me as I do not know a lot about film. I do know I have tried to convert some negs lately without too much success) I have many negatives that I had not taken good care of, such a waste. I am now very careful with any that my Father gives to me. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted June 16, 2013 Thank you kindly for your comment on this one. This is a scan of the print and the scratches could have be directly on the print or introduced by that old/basic scanner I was using. This is tricky business for me anyway;I have a very large quantity of prints/négatives and slides from my time overseas and from long before which I have to tackle and I have just purchased a dedicated neg/slide scanner for the task. Some of today's scanners can eliminate scratches/dust spots and can also work wonders on faded colors......which I will soon discover.Good luck with yours!Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
