The composition here is wonderful. Her glance out of the frame goes along with holding the camera as if she is looking for the next photograph to make. I like this a lot, if you couldn't tell.

Well done with your model's pose and how you've positioned her in the frame - IMO the negative space more focuses the viewer on your "two" subjects.  Perhaps the only improvement I can offer, would be to have her holding a (my) Hasselblad, but just a personal preference! :)!!!

Really like the way you have composed/cropped this shot. Great tones in this shot with perfect blacks. A wonderful shot of a beautiful model. I am a little worried that age is catching up on me as I also loved the beautiful camera model and wish I had never gotten rid of mine. Best wishes William

I guess I'm out of step with the majority of posters, but both the photo and your statement about "girls" (really, girls?) and cameras strike me as kind of adolescent.

I guess you are not the only one out of step. I haven't got a clue what you are talking about.

A most marvelous camera from what seems almost pre-history now. O you can get a digital back for it for like 20,000 USD but... Yikes!

The Mamiya is 1 of the best

The Mamiya is good but I do believe the model to be better. Thanks for taking the time.

I like her pose and placement in the frame. Her skin tones are perfect and her facial capture could not be better. I love the fact that she is aiming the camera to the side and not straight at you. In short, it kicks ass.

I think Fred G's comment about adolescence is essentially correct. I plan to stay 17 until 2 weeks after I die.
