davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 The picture is beautiful because of the subject(s.) Thank you. Link to comment
ruudalbers 1 Posted June 9, 2013 A beautiful original result, very nicely composed too, David! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 What I said to Pierre covers your comment too. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
janusz taras 0 Posted June 9, 2013 Beautiful model in a very interesting composition. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 I like to think the composition is unusual. The model's beauty is not in doubt. Thanks. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted June 9, 2013 The composition here is wonderful. Her glance out of the frame goes along with holding the camera as if she is looking for the next photograph to make. I like this a lot, if you couldn't tell. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 It is one that I like myself but self praise is no praise. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
jyfoto 1 Posted June 9, 2013 Well done with your model's pose and how you've positioned her in the frame - IMO the negative space more focuses the viewer on your "two" subjects. Perhaps the only improvement I can offer, would be to have her holding a (my) Hasselblad, but just a personal preference! :)!!! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 Thanks for the informative comment. Do send me your Hasselblad and I will see what I can do. I should warn you that I might not send it back. Link to comment
WJBrowning 0 Posted June 9, 2013 Really like the way you have composed/cropped this shot. Great tones in this shot with perfect blacks. A wonderful shot of a beautiful model. I am a little worried that age is catching up on me as I also loved the beautiful camera model and wish I had never gotten rid of mine. Best wishes William Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 It is OK to like cameras. It is also OK to like women. There might be a problem with the order of preference. I won't ask which you like more. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 9, 2013 I guess I'm out of step with the majority of posters, but both the photo and your statement about "girls" (really, girls?) and cameras strike me as kind of adolescent. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2013 I guess you are not the only one out of step. I haven't got a clue what you are talking about. Link to comment
Elstad 7 Posted June 10, 2013 A most marvelous camera from what seems almost pre-history now. O you can get a digital back for it for like 20,000 USD but... Yikes! A most lovely lady holding it too, nicely covering her 'lady bits' :=}-r- Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 10, 2013 I do have 2 backs for the camera but alas, neither is a digital back. Yes! The lady is lovely. Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 11, 2013 The Mamiya is good but I do believe the model to be better. Thanks for taking the time. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted June 12, 2013 I like her pose and placement in the frame. Her skin tones are perfect and her facial capture could not be better. I love the fact that she is aiming the camera to the side and not straight at you. In short, it kicks ass. -Cheers Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 13, 2013 Come on! Who would want to point a camera at me. Thanks a ton. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted June 15, 2013 Probably the same person that would want to point one at me. ;=)) -Cheers Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted June 15, 2013 I think Fred G's comment about adolescence is essentially correct. I plan to stay 17 until 2 weeks after I die. Jim Phelps Link to comment
