While practising my handholding skills yesterday, I had picked a few

Irises and decided to try a few shots up as close as I could. I sat

under the Gazebo, and while taking images of one of the Irises, a

little spider suddenly climbed from behind. He was so tiny you could

hardly see him. I knew he would not stick around for long, so I tried

as hard as I could to stay still. This one was about the clearest. I had

hoped to get his little eyes clearer, but just could not. I am posting

the original as well just underneath. (your comments and visits as

always, are most appreciated, Gail -MACRO-)

Thank you Vlad, when I look at it from your POV, it could be a little broach! My appreciation for your visit and encouraging remark.

Warmest regards, Gail

Hello my happy friend!!! I heard weather was not going to be to good in parts of Mexico earlier in the week, I've not heard more, hopefully it did not amount to anything.

Wishing you and yours the best always Alberto, Gail

That song kept going through my head Kathy, hadn't thought of it for a few years, at least not since the grandchildren were very young.

Thank you for your visit!! Hope you are not experiencing any bad weather.

Cheers for now, Gail

Hi Gail

that spider is the perfect match for the plant. I really like the full shot where my eye is lead to the spider and the yellows interact. Impressive steady hands!

Perfection ! A minuscule world to discover !

If you care about your money don't buy the white and the L unless they bring back money.

Hi Gail,

I am pleased to see you put into practice the many lessons that I taught you. First, your camera and lens settings are excellent. Second, your hand held techniques are coming along fine.

The results are a beautiful image with a very good clarity level.

Warmest Regards, Mike

Mike, my sincere thanks, for without all of your advice and consistent repeating of what you know best, and NOT what I have "heard", I am finally learning. I must have shot close to 800 images today, just around the garden and with some flowers taken inside, and still I am not near to having a handheld shot at 1/25th sec that is acceptable. But I will keep trying. Much appreciation for stopping to let me know how I am doing!!

Respectfully yours, Gail
