Hi Pierre,

Another work of the genius !

A beautiful compliment to your other works involving the old telephone.

Perhaps I need to call you soon.........ha !

Best Regards my friend, Uncle Mike

Pierre, the title and the new element of the homing pigeon stimulated my own imagination. I asked what other elements your could put in under the same theme "Competition". A few I came up with are a cell phone, a telegraph key and an Aztec runner. The possibilities are many. Or you could have 2 people reaching for the phone.

This is true art when you get someone to interpret and extend your idea.

Well Done!!!

Dave, thank you for your, as usually thorough and kind critique! And I can assure you that there won't be cell phones, iPods and such things on my pictures for I hate them!

Tina, you are spoiling me, your comments are always "excellent"! Thank you for feeding my vanity, ha!

I could hardly find your photo without my comment to reciprocate for this one of yours, Tina!

Thank you Maria, I've also noticed the shadows! And they are not symmetrically positioned and well balanced on this one!

Thank you Ruud, I'm afraid something's wrong with the composition, but when you say it's good I won't oppose, ha!

Thank you William, it was a pigeon who landed on the pavement and I took his picture with tele zoom lens from two meters distance!
