This picture was taken at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, which isin the territory of the Hulalapai Indian nation.

The West Rim is home to the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk, and attractsvisitors from all over the world. The signage in Chinese clearlycaters to the large number of Chinese-speaking visitors.

The man in the picture is a Navajo musician, who was visiting theGrand Canyon West area for a cultural performance over the MemorialDay weekend. I thought the juxtaposition of a Navajo dress and aChinese language sign in the Hualapai Indian nation was amusing, aswell as picturesque.
