Interesting colors. How much is real and how much is augmented? I like the blue bands in the middle. The silhouette also helps to set the shot. Is it slightly posterized? If not you might try that as well. Well done. - Charles

Charles I have not heard from you recently so it is good to get your positive feedback which is appreciated. I was also attracted to the blue band in the middle.

To answer your questions: there is very little post processing on this one. I straightened my horizon, I lightened the shadow land area to bring out some details, the very bottom and top edges, I darkened just a bit. My camera is set on "neutral" which 'records' the least amount of augmentation.

No saturation or color balance was applied. Re the posterization perception - it might be to do with the fact that scene was way off in the distance and represented a small area of the sky. I used the equivalent of a 270mm zoom.

All the best and look forward to further comments and/or ratings.

Tony,  Wow!  What colour as you Canadians say, eh?  And the horizontal lines in the water really create a dazzling image.  Wonderful.   Larry

Victor - Thanks. I also stopped by some of your images and there is a california scene that I thought was amazing.

Thanks for stopping by my site and commenting on some of my new pieces. i have been on vacation, or working on getting shows ready and up, so I haven't been as present on the site as usual. Just hund an 11 piece show this weekend, working on a 30+ floral show and a 20 piece mixed show for the end of the month. Also have a group show that opens this weekend that I hung last week. The Caymens and the riverboat cruise were both great experiences. All the best! - Charles
