I was accustomed with lot of colors landscapes-seascapes from you and this catch my attention first I open gallery page,is a moment  that I like how is composed and how light play with dark in waves somehow is so good.Laurent you caught a so good image here,I am looking for few minutes and delight the eyes with this phenomenon that maybe can see once or twice in a life in my area, you live in a very interesting location and even if as you said is cold and springtime is late in compensation you received moment like this that for a photographer is gold.I like how border lake(I presume is a lake) and tree silhouette is seen and soft water reflection of the light clouds.I like it and compliment you for this that is an A++.

Thank you for the so kind appreciation. As with most photos like this one,you have to be at the right place at the right time;as my wife and I walked out of the small resto where we had lunch,we were greeted by this big cloud but the setting was not ideal amidst the houses. She suggested we make a run for the waterside and this was the first spot I could get a clear shot. There was a better place down the road but by the time we got there, the cloud formation had dissipated. This was so colourless that I had to darken it in PP to get some definition but with my limited PP skills, the whole scene turned out really darker than it was.I will return to this one to see if I can improve on it at least slightly. This might be better with the wind-turbines cloned out of the horizon;the nature observation boardwalk on the right may be more dfficult to take out.

Merci encore et salutations amicales-Laurent

Laurent a really wonderful shot that works so well in B & W. A 7 from me for this dramatic sky(land)scape. Can't add anything more than has already been said apart from the fact that being consistently in the right place at the right is not an accident. Best wishes William.

Wonderful moment captured in this landscape and you rendered it exceptionally well, Laurent. Beautiful scene and congratulations.

Thank you kindly again. This is B/W almost by accident as the original was so "colorless",it cried to go B/W.With my basic PP skills,I find this a lot more difficult to work than color particularly the overall brightness while maintaining the definition in the clouds. But with the response I received on this one,I must work at it.

The threatening clouds were just that and they dissipated very quickly in this high winds corridor(see the wind turbines).Thank you for that kind remark!

This is a very dramatic view. The formation of the clouds is unique and they seem to glow from inside. The wind turbines form a meaningful part of the scene. Karl

These look more threatening than actual because the image was darkenened to maximize the definition. The clouds dissipated quickly, too fast for my liking as I could not make it in time to a better vantage point.Thank you for looking in and for the appreciation.
