The colors were in the sky for a very short time before the clouds

took over.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Hi Laurent, beautiful capture!!! What perfect timing. The even cloud formation makes for such a wonderful picture, and you timed it perfectly. I know how fleeting the light is for such shots. I love the deep red glow on the underside of the clouds. This is wonderful!

Thank you for the so kind and knowledgeable appreciation. This is in front of my house and when the horizon has that gap to let the rising sun peek in,it is predictable to a certain extent how it will light up the underside of the cloud, starting with a light glow  to a full lightup like here to then fade off as the sun disappears behind the clouds. You only have to be awake at 5h00 AM and on this day,I was conveniently awakened by my dog wanting out.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent

Laurent,

This is my favorite of your recent series, I like the diagonal effect of the clouds and the backlit trees, all in all a truly wonderful image that I will add to my favorites. Alfredo

This is the angle I see looking from the front of my house;at this time of the year, the sun peeks at where that yellow spot is in the middle of the frame. The other shots are slightly oriented North and taken from the middle of the yard.I thank you for the kind appreciation and the honour of having this one in your Favorites.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
