I think you have all of the technical aspects perfectly here. In my opinion, it is the aesthetics and appeal that I think is weak. You have given the title "Boat" and I would be making the boat a bigger percentage of the image and I would choose a different time of day - early morning or late afternoon.

I hope this does not sound negative since that was not my objective.

Yes, I've been there for a lunch at noon and thought it was opportunity to capture this boat. I also agree the image name is not consistent with the overall space management of the photo, but this has nothing to do with its aesthetics and appeal. Best regards
