The old tug has been moved, holes in hull filled and work started. Maybe

there is life after death for this old tug. Winter turns to spring. I would

appreciate any comments or views. Many thanks William

Given that there is so much light behind the boat I am surprised (pleasantly) to see so much detail in the algae (or is it green paint.) The colour rendition is very good. I have a feeling that few of us would have bothered to take this image. I do like this.

It does seem funny that this would be restored. I can't imagine the engines being serviceable.

Many thanks David and Les for taking the time to  comment.

The green is algae as until recently the boat didn't go up and down with the tide.

The boat is being renovated as a house boat rather than as a tug. There is a very unusual and diverse collection of house boats on the river which all had a very different start in life.

Best wishes William.

Recalled to life!! Resurrected from the abyss of the derelict! Bravo! All tugs have character. Nice photo in a tough lighting situation.

This is very well captured and there are many details on the boat I consider eye candy. I wonder what this scene would look like with some early morning or late afternoon light?

Tony. Thanks for your comment. I agree about the early morning light, just awaiting the right morning light and when the tide makes it possible to get this viewpoint. Best wishes William.
