Hi Christal,   Is this in Scotland?  You have nice light on the bridge that makes it pop well.  Also, I like the orange reflection in the water.  The image looks like you took advantage of good light at the end of the day?  Am I way off on the time?  The trees offer nice framing for the image as well.  best to you.  Larry

Give that man an 'A+'.  :-)  Except for the Scotland part.  This is in northern Alberta.....the Peace River area.  The clouds were extremely threatening looking, but it never did rain.  We were walking (umbrellas in hand) along the river toward the bridge in the early evening, and for only a few minutes the most amazing light peeked through, creating the reflection in the water.   Fortunately we were able to capture it.  Once in a while I actually get lucky.  :-)  Thanks so much for your comment!

I love a suspension bridge in the middle of nowhere (as opposed to the big city).  It really gives you the chance to marvel at the engineering and architecture of the structure.

Now to the picture, the only thing I can find wrong, and I'm really nit-picking, is that I don't like the earth that is visable on the tiny island.  Just a bit higher water level and I could not find anything to make it better,

Very well done!

Like a beautiful postcard and I use that term complimentary!  Perfectly presented...  Mike

Gregory.... And believe it or not it had rained a lot (for Alberta, anyway).  Yes, I agree with you.  It didn't bother me until you mentioned it though.  ;-)  Thanks for your visit!

Mike....It was amazing light, and I'm so glad I got an unusual picture of it.  We had not planned to be this far north.  We had planned to go to Jasper, but mudslides had closed 2 of the main roads to places we wanted to see there, so we went to Plan B and drove north.  It's a lovely area....the Peace River Valley.  Glad you like this one.
