A beautiful result again, Mike!

I just watched a UTube Video on this National Park in Australia. It was made by the Videographer to look as if you were hiking along the trails, so beautiful!!! This would be a Photographers dream Mike. It was your images that made me search this place out further. Lovely series Mike. I like all three images Mike. Would be great to see one in color as well, but don't know if you want to process one in color. The Video was rather dark, and did not quite showcase what I imagine the beauty of this place would offer. Very nice presentation of your images as always!!

Thank you Gail, much appreciated as always.  Most of the images I have taken lately have been with the Fuji x10 in b&w mode (ie. output was b&w jpegs - no colour originals).  These there were in colour however so I'll see if I can do anything with them.  The day was very dull and overcast (which was great for the b&w as it cut down the contrast to something reasonably manageable - although this one is an HDR combination of a number of images in order to capture detail in the sky).  From memory the colour versions were nothing special but I'll have an other look.

Thank you Landrum.  I moved to live not far from here just under a year ago and it has taken until now to drive the 15 minutes to take these images - always the way; we take for granted that which is easy ...

Here is one of the colour originals that make up the b&w hdr image above. 

Nice vista shot, Mike. Fells suitably substantiated on ferns and rockies in smooth-range tonality. Best compliments.
