Just testing a new Tamron stabilized lens .. SP 24-70mm  f2.8  Di VC USD .. half price to the Nikon equivalent with no VR.  

Against the light in a shaded cafe terrace .. 

This is a beautiful image! the light is fantastic and I love the expression on both the girls pictured. This image really tells a story

very good light and composition..you are also very good at to catch the feelings.

Very nice and cute expressions John, lovely b/w.  The lens is a keeper...Sharp and VC is a great plus when shooting indoors or at low light (more photos to keep), but I am sure you will find out yourself.

A great shot. A true candid of younger people are wonderful.

The lens is a good one, but I stick with the Nikkor zooms myself.

As for Image Stabilization, I do not ever use it or need it because it can reduce image clarity in some applications.

I like both expressions caught in this snapshot that completes each other,young girl is indeed a candid one and so natural,all image has a feeling and I like this.

No idea about the lens, but you have well captured the expressions typical of the age of the girls.

This is a wonderful moment expertly captured. The interaction of the girl and woman behind is terrific. I like the sense of mystery of what she is looking at.

Nice children's portrait, a good result!
