The situation explained by you does not conform to the expression in the portrait. He looks more like an executive (because of the formal necktie) listening attentively to a proposal. I like more his picture with the girl (I presume his sister) uploaded in your critique. His expression show a great affection and pride for the girl

Jorrge,  I was also a little confused as the title and story don't obviously match the photo.  A nice image of an apparently nice guy, but missing something.  The second photo is fantastic.  It has much more personality, it tells us something about both subjects, and better fits the title and story.  Technically both photos are well executed.  Good composure, color, and lighting.  Thanks for sharing.
