I certainly would enjoy a garden like this.

A wonderful creative composition.

For myself, I do not use any short focal length lens above F/5.6, and often I can take most scenes at F/4 or even wide open. The f-stop , on good lens, only improves the lens performance level and excessive f-stops reduces them.

This is not as critical in scene because the detail level s inherently limited by the elements viewed.

Mike - This close to the object i had to use a relative small f/stop to get the dof i wanted. I tried wider opening but they did not give med what i wanted.
