Whew, I know they have to eat, but have not seen them this close up!! Excellent capture!! Squirrels are rodents (I think), but somehow, I don't know why, I never thought of Herons as eating animals???? Will have to look that up. Grande capture though!

Wow, I'm sorry I missed this one Monte!! I don't know why I was never aware that Heron's ate Mammals!! Excellent detail achieved. I always imagined that they ate fish and bugs!!! I'll have to read up about them. I hope you have enjoyed a good summer Monte.
