A flamingo's beak is specially designed to filter food from the

water. In short, it is the tongue of a flamingo that acts like a pump

to suck in water and then expel it after filtering. The tongue of this

bird has ridged plates that can trap food particles .Once the food is

trapped by the tongue, the water is expelled from the beak.

Sound like a very efficient way of getting the food out of the water, Giangiorgio. Beautiful colors, light and composition. Love the trickling from its beak and the background looks amazing. Best regards, Paul.
