Thanks Janine! The duck always get away but sometimes damage can happen thougn. Saturday mornng one of the Avocet  almost got a broken leg when the duck caught one of the leg and yank on it for a while. One of the Avocet mother is also limping around and we all feel bad for her since even though they are so aggressive we do hope she's well enough to protect the chicks from predator. The bobcat comes at night and it's battle of survival.

Great stop action of nature in motion. Perfect settings for this shot. It looks like you get good clear shots with ISO of 500 at 1/1600. This exact moment will not occur again but will be repeated many more times. Good capture.

Thanks Dave! Yes indeed, they fight all the time the last couple weeks and each time it's a different pose that I got. Sometimes, it's call cut up when they are too close too, I am thinking of using my 100-400mm to see if I would catch more shot when they are too close. :-)
