oaks at sunset

I was to to capture an image of the Milky Way, but two little details intervened: first it gets dark much later in Iowa than in Connecticut, and I've been up and traveling since five AM East Coast time. Second, the air was just a bit too humid to allow for a really clear night sky.
This is one of the images I took while waiting for the sky to darken. The view is to the West and the orange horizon is gue to the last indirect light of the setting sun, which had been below the horizon for quite some time.
