Thanks Thamer! Yes, the eyes are a bit dark and I did lighten them up some after I uploaded this image. It's always hard to capture these bird (for me), I use to used the 500mm + 1.4X TC (700mm) and it was marginal. Now, I use the 500mm + 2X TC (1000mm) and ...barely have enough lens to get them :-)

Grazie Mille Giangiorgio! .. I was just going home and pass this open field which I see 1 and 2 and 3 .. White-tailed Kites hovering, hunting. I turned the car around 2, 3 times and finally deciced to take my chance to park on a 'no parking' zone. Took my camera with the 2X TC II still attach and took a few shots when they perch on a tree. I got lucky and got only one good shot. :-)
