guillelobera 0 Posted May 17, 2013 This restored 16th century tower house sits on a rocky outcrop on the shores of Galway Bay in County Galway, 300 yards outside the picturesque village of Kinvara. The name derives from the Dun of King Guaire, the legendary king of Connaught. Today, the castle's 75-foot tower and its defensive wall are open to tourists during the summer. It is thought to be the most photographed castle in Ireland. Link to comment
