Happy Accident?

Was it a happy accident? It was a foogy early morning on the north

coast of California. Sitting on the poarch of my rental cabin at the KOA,

I held my 50D with the Sigma 150-500 in hand hopping to catch some

squirrel action. It was quiet, most of the camp-ground still slept except

for the squirrels raiding left-overs from campers the night before, and the

near constant coo-cooing of small gray doves. A brief moment of

sunlight broke through the din, shining down upon these flowers. My

ISO was set high for the action of the wildlife, so I may never truly make

a large print. I intensified the lighting effect with a little PP vignetting.

Am I happy with the results? ...Yes
