Hi Rick,

Very nice nature photo. The orange, greens and yellow make a very colorful composition.

I live on the west coast so have only read about these. Is this the eft stage?  I am also wondering what the vegetation is around it. It looks just like filaments of threads.  Is it a fungus?

Regards,

Jerry

Jerry,
Thanks for your comments, they were appreciated. You are right, it is the eft stage. Also, in the original, a rock was to the left & a leaf to the right.  I like the fungus idea better though :).
