alan chan 0 Posted September 5, 2003 Dear PK, this face does gives an impact of horror. You purposely highlighted the right hand side which was lighted compared with the left-hand side which was thrown behind shadow but obviously two spotty white were left on the nose and the lips - i suppose that's inevitable because you still wanted to creat a frame of the head by sending a spot light on the left hand side. I wonder if lighting could be adjusted to give the following effect ? Just an interest, i have no experience in studio lighting :) Link to comment
koval 0 Posted September 5, 2003 I am not sure if I have enought expirience to give you a right answer. I guess it is. The way it was shown by you is the way I was tring to get , whixh was a bit bihind my abilities, mostle because the lighting I use. There are certain devices I could add on to my Bowens lighting to get more control : honey combs or spots , spill kils etc ..The reason why the light from the back didi not concentrated on the face is tha it is a light reflected from the background. There was not enought control to make it exact . Iam sure thouh that there is no problem to create effect you suggested with use of some extrases mentioned. Regards PK. Link to comment
leya216 0 Posted February 9, 2004 i think the right hand should've been in focus, but other than that can't think of anything I'd change... Link to comment
