darin_burt 0 Posted September 3, 2003 not that it's not great, but it would have been really cool with a person standing, fishing, etc in the middle of the water. Link to comment
steve_johannson 0 Posted September 5, 2003 interesting photo. I wonder how it would look as a black and white. Link to comment
roger_gelfand 0 Posted September 6, 2003 I would prefer this shot without the treeline.............what do you think? Link to comment
whinterberger 0 Posted September 6, 2003 I don't know, Roger. I feel it would lose its context and become almost an abstract and I don't want to go there with this shot... Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Walter, this is a fantastic landscape which caught my eye when looking at your great portfolio. The dried out mud was well observed, and the majestic sweep of the shore line, guiding the eyes towards the distance is operatic in its effect. The composition is very strong, and the muted colour tones add to the mood of the image. Well done, I love it! - 7/7 Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted March 1, 2005 Like Steve, I wondered what it would look like in B&W. This is the Green Channel only, with some added contrast (hope that you don't mind, Walter). What do you think? I think Walter's colour original is much better. Link to comment
