I had a doubt on the collocation of this composition but after I selected  "Nude" because the true and deep problem of an artist (also not of "Nude"...)is the..."Woman's body&soul"! But the problem needs of a serious discussion! ...Ciaomau!

It would appear that Salvador has a more interesting view than us. It is good to experiment and play. I like this.

Maurizio,

I wonder, is woman the problem? Your question Maurizio brought to mind the words of Siegmund Freud: 'Wass will dass Weib' This what he actually said: "The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is “What does a woman want?” And since we still do not know the answer I think we can hardly say that women is the problem. Dali in this image of yours represents the many sided aspect of the artist and his excentiric personality. Something we find back in the female psyche. The images of native Xingu indians from the Amazon region represent another part of her psyche. Sometimes I think the problem is as well male as female. It has all to do with the attraction between man and woman the so called eros. Attracting and also rejecting. Maurizio you have made an inspiring image. The window in this image offers the possibility of new visions and ideas. A different outlook, and I think you know the answer already. Congratuations and thank you for sharing this wonderfull brainfood.

Kind regards

Herman

Such a provocative work, and question... For me the woman is the most extraordinary creature of the universe, in every senses.

On the other hand, if women were "the problem" as Dali said, then I guess we must have a deep discussion about Dali as the man he was, not the woman as they are.

Herman did an interesting reflection about the dilemma, ¿What do the women want?

I guess this enigma has not an answer, not an easy answer at least. But I wonder, If someday I find the answer then the most alluring mystery of the nature will disappear. Then, we must have extreme care about our wishes, because one day they became true and we will have the answer, then... what's next?

At last, your work is creative, artistic, with a strong reference to the genius and his tortured  inner world. Very well done.

Very good work my friend and you are asking an existential question that most people will not even attempt to answer...

...., I’m very happy for your interest on my… “proposal” and specially for
the answer of Herman, Carlos and Dimitris. In my  biography you can read about my interest and
studies on human mind and we know the importance of art for growth of our soul:
art is the possibility to be what we want, to live our interior answers and
show our desires, fears and…more, more and more again! The problem of woman is
the…mother of all our problems and the talk is too much long and complex for
this little space. But not only woman is a dilemma for man but also…vice versa!
Man and woman are completely different planets: there is not the better. But to
be a man is more difficult than to be a woman because every daughter will be a
woman like her mother, not so for a son and LOVE is MOTHER. Woman is and has
LOVE, man no: man is VIOLENCE and he look for LOVE in woman because he does not
know LOVE, often man  mistakes SEX with
LOVE but sex is sex and love is love also if some lucky times sex and love can…participate
in some moments and cases. But, I repeat, talk is TOO MUCH important and long
for this…little space. However I’m happy my composition can have had some
moments of reflection for you, my dear friends! Ciao, Maurizio

Creatividad en alza, esta imagen es muy trabajada y el titulo es perfecto aunque la mujer es un problema pero un bendito problema. Todo me parece muy subrrealismo tal com lo haria Salvador Dali. Fantastic work

Superbly put together Mau, an image with a past and future, the enigmatic, ever changing role of woman in our society, and such a welcome one it is too, bravo.

You have presented to us a most interesting collage-type composition. There will be many interpretations and they will be as diverse as the minds of those who write them. There will never be enough room for all the words in this discussion. Not only are men and women DIFFERENT and see things so differently, each woman and man is a product of their environment, quite often the one they grew up in. Who were the 'parental' figures that influenced them most. Were they allowed to 'flourish' in that environment, or was it a 'prison'???? Were they encouraged to 'think' on their own, or were they 'fed' the thoughts and preconceived notions of their caregivers??

I'm stopping now. But I do not think just WOMAN is the problem. Perhaps it is the mix of the TWO. MALE and FEMALE.  I see Dali on one side of the woman and what I perceive to be a 'phallic' symbol on her other side!! A very complex subject, as is the composition, yet it still makes one begin to think very 'deeply' and on the other hand, it also made me CHUCKLE!!

Well done Maurizio!!
