Pierre Dumas 266 Posted May 7, 2013 I wasn't satisfied with this picture on which I replaced the original face of the cartoon sculpture with mine which I even then didn't find appropriate, and just put the original back!PDE Link to comment

cromwell1664877587 0 Posted May 7, 2013 I remember your original very well and like it much better. The desperado in that one looks so much more formidable.:) It just all comes together better and really works with your face. I'm sure I would still love this if I saw it without knowledge of the other though. Link to comment
m_akin 2 Posted May 7, 2013 very good and original work..I also like the bw.version... Link to comment
Ciao, Maurizio. Link to comment
overdiep 0 Posted May 7, 2013 Pierre, This one is indeed better. Your face is of course "very impressive and important", but in this case quite unbelievable. I like the well-known "Pierre-figures" round the desperado. Confess?.....at last he will do, I think. Best regards, Marco Link to comment

JamieK 1 Posted May 7, 2013 but somehow you make chaos work. i still prefer the simple one, but the milieu makes him look so haggard and desperate here. that's cool. best, j Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 266 Posted May 7, 2013 Jamie, there IS NO SIMPLICITY and after all, if there is such an illusion of the eye and mind, what do you think of Rembrandt?! PDE Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted May 7, 2013 Very impressive Pierre. Sometimes I think that you should drop the camera work and paint ... Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 266 Posted May 7, 2013 John, I didn't paint anything here (God forbid), it is a sculpture made of paper and canvas! And painting is so difficult, ha! Thank you for your visit and input, my friend! PDE Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted May 8, 2013 I don't know, he may have confessed, but perhaps he is the type that loves being a 'Desperado'. Therefore, you just keep on doing what you like, keep going to 'Confession' and he still gets to see the 'lady in blue'!! Once a Desperado, ususally always a DESPERADO!!! Very nice work Pierre, miss you my friend!!sincere regards, Gail Link to comment

panayotis_papadopoulos 0 Posted May 8, 2013 Ah!! this time the gringo seems more strong-minded...he's looking for trouble, I think I will ask seniora Tereza to drive me into the church...said the green lizard, but is Pierre going to allow it?...to be continuedAnother nice work my dear friend, keep them coming! JamieK 1 Posted May 9, 2013 ''there IS no SIMPLICITY?''anyway, i think there is. the other one is simpler. even a space alien that had been blind from birth, on looking on these as the first stimuli ever to crest his space-alien-retinas or whatever would say so. j oh yeah, p.s.: Rembrandt. i Remembrandt him.
