A great find! Lovely old vessel with loads of character and charm. 

Great detail and textures, and I think I would love to see this in B & W too!

There are some strange looking shadows/halos around the dark protruding objects at the very top of the vessel. Just as PP oversight perhaps?

Thank you for stopping by, and your kind words.  I am having difficulty finding those halos/shadows you are refering to.  I did find two dust spot marks that I "healed" out.  They were/are more in the sky above the rear deck.    If you might be refering to the blue regions around those stays ontop the cab, they are if fact what remains of a blue plexiglass skirting that shielded the upper deck/bridge from spray.  Thank you for your time.  Best regards...

As I thought, the B & W version looks great and seems to add atmosphere and convey the character of the vessel to a greater extent. The halos I was referring too are indeed the plexi glass skirting, now you have explained it, its easy to recognise.
