robertbrown 1 Posted September 2, 2003 Comments, ratings appreciated on this Bryce Canyon shot. I shot this quickly hiking up to another location. Link to comment
alethea_hollis 0 Posted September 4, 2003 This is quite intriguing, the sky is just wonderful, did you get it in any other shots, it would just be so good to see this sky and the rock formations together. I remember being at this point and thinking what a fabulous name for such a fantastic scene, takes your breath away. From a photo critique point of view, the foregrond is not so interesting, but it does capture the essence of viewing Bryce for so many people, the place is just so accessible, for everyone to enjoy the scenery. Hope I am making sense! Link to comment
chris_conrad 0 Posted September 16, 2003 This is a nice twist on the standard National Park viewpoint shot. Would look nice in a travel magazine. cc Link to comment
marshall 0 Posted September 29, 2003 The travel mag comment is dead-on about this. I think it's a truly excellent view of the viewpoint, beautifully composed and exposed to express a sense of being there, and in that may be the most successful shot in the folder to my eye. It's unfortunate that it's noisy, though perhaps I'm seeing jpeg compression rather than cmos noise? Nonetheless, the space and lines here are very well seen. Enjoy. Link to comment
robmiller 0 Posted January 23, 2004 I think this is a very under-rated photo. This shot has my imagination racing while I try to picture what these folks must be seeing from their vantage point. Great shot! Link to comment
