Mahalo Dominick! The male would jump on top, at this point the wings are straight up and I normally loose a couple shot there by clipping the wings. He then tries to balance with the wings lower and sort of position the feet and squat down to do the Cloacal Kiss and then step off to one side with one wing generally still drape over the female to do the final dance. 

I think his legs are used to find/approximate the location for the kiss  :-)
