tc_reed 0 Posted September 2, 2003 I have edited this in PS as with the help of Photo.net members who are the masters of great photography. I hope this cleaned up version is worthy of their instruction. If not, I promise not to drop names! ;-) Link to comment
gabrielma 0 Posted September 13, 2003 The edges is a good contrast to the subject, and the angle and placement are very good. However, the highlights are burned and the shadows are flat. This has got to be due to reprocessing and the posting, not the original picture. Try reprocessing again (use Lab mode to handle the highlights). Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted September 13, 2003 I cleaned up some of the unnecessary specs that were in the frame and sharpened it a bit. Possibly a bit too much. However, I didn't want it too look too soft. I wanted a sharper edge without the burned out look. I will work on this effect. It works for some shots and not for others. Lighting was really important with this one and I think I allowed for too much. But, thank you for your input. You have a good eye. Link to comment
