this image has not been edited to remove colour. The effect of monochrome

are a result of heavy smoke in the air due to back burning.

thanks for your thoughts

A wonderfully quiet photograph beautifully seen and captured. It took a bit to see the color and I like that choice.

What a peaceful moment feel looking to this image,I like how is composed and I think the light and tone color did is what gives me this feeling, compliments.

The very low saturation let see all details, tones of light and the most delicate tonalities of color. J.P. Caponigro could be envious. Just beautiful!

Thanks everyone for your comments, I was very pleased with the way the image turned out due to the environmental conditions resulting from back burning. Dave I've inserted the original image for you to see this image is real. Cheers

Although I have the greatest respect for your PP work, on this occasion, having the benefit of seeing the original via the attachment. I have to say I prefer it. The lightening of the birds looks a little too obvious here, but then maybe I wouldn't have thought that before I saw the original.

Hindsight is a wonderfu thing : - )

A great capture by any standard and the monochrome effect looks very good too.

Compliments & Best Regards

Pattern or repetition is always a good approach to an interesting image and it's an interesting Pelican shot with a sureal mood to it. TFS!

Simply a delicate composition, the difference beween the water and space is minimal and  still is seen. very nice timing and PP. The  original is quite similar. This one has to be seen large, then the different  pelicans, their  water replics and surrouding is more enhansed.Very nice art work, Art!
