Hi Pierre,

I like the romantic moon over- seeing this scene.

The friendly and inquisitive lizard looks up at the displaced man.

What a story of life.

Only Nature tells reveals the real truth in your image.

Best Regards, Uncle Mike

Monstrous Funny.

I like the idea that places can be fictional as well as real. The United States that people know here in England (yours too, I bet) is almost entirely fictional. The fictional country has such power that it easily withstands contradictory data and even visits to the real place. I've been gone so long that I start to see things hazily.

Excellent work !!!

By coincidence, just a two days ago was browsing through images of Mexican Revolution and a work of Tina Modrotti.

I like the Jamie's comment.

What I like about this is that it can make someone laugh and make another have nightmares. Creative for sure. I will let you know if I have any nightmares.

Very interesting and praiseworthy comments make me happy, especially  for a brand new picture, made this morning! The color version wasn't just by my taste and I decided to expose this one!

Maria, it is weird, the figure (sculpture made of paper, canvas and plastic) stood in front of a Mexican restaurant in my town and I was delighted and took the picture!

And now say that globalisation is not OK.

And by utmost coincidence (now it is really funny) on my ipod just when I open the picture started to play Hermanos Rios (Putumayo Presents Mexico CD - recommended!) - not only this picture goes to my favorites folder, it obviously has and some deeper meaning to me which I still don't realise.

And by the way, on your painting the Moon was immensely fabulous!

And, since my ipod is on shuffle mode, now - when I finishing my comment -Leb i Sol is playing - Kontakt je skup! Coincidence?

Pierre, Mysterious and creative. It looks like a standing Mexican mummy. "According the rules of your signature" you added a lizard and a cactus. There is no doubt: it is your work. Compliments. Best regards, Marco

Perhaps this image could be retitled:  "The Gila Monster meets Pancho Villa."  Just a thought, equally as surreal as the photograph.  Love the shadows.

My best,

I love the way this one speaks to me, it's telling me stories. It's like running into an old drunk and then realizing that he used to be prime minister or CEO in a huge company before things went bust. Just learning how the world can treat you. I love it. Surreal, touching and filled with things to tell.

The return of Don Bru Ha Ha... A most Marvelous image my friend! He must be on the Arizona Mexican border as this is the only place that Saguaro cactus grow. As an aside, they will reach an age of 200 years and do not sprout their first branch until about 30 years of age :=}

Saguaros live 200 years, it's a prove that desert isn't good for anybody, the olives live over 2000 years Raymond! Thanks for your compliments!
