Made me smile - though there is some tragic element in her absurd fight against gravity. Great capture - in the sense that it shows a charateristic moment (at least it 'feels' for me not having seen the whole performance) - of a surely an impressive performance (your photo made me google for videos).

A disturbing contortion.  It's a hard shot to take in low light.  Yikes.  Each of the subsequent shots are equally troubling in their own "out there," creative way.

All of you.

Jeff,

The story is about a woman with an" obsessive/compulsive" disorder to cleanliness and dust....;-)) ...

Touching a nerve of many women's problem...;-))

Created, designed and performed by: Gabrielle Neuhaus !
Performed at the visual theater.

As working in the field....I think that you, especially as a  viewer, could understand her point....;-))

This image, as well as the others that follow, quite successfully portrays the subject's pain.  These dancers have amazing flexibility, and this is crucial in being able to assume and maintain these poses.

The subject's facial expression in this image - especially the shape of her mouth and her lips being pursed - clearly displays extraordinary concentration.  Although I am no expert, I suspect that such concentration goes hand in hand with OCD.

My best always; Chag Sameach!

You've conveyed the great artistry of the choreographer and scene designer in this one. There is a wonderful statement here about the role of women in general and you've captured it with excellent lighting, her illuminated face backed by the dark shadows of the dark floor. She's at work and yet sensually posed to show agility and struggle. It seems a very positive statement of feminism and really invites the viewer, me, to want to see the entire dance. It is an enticing image.
