this picture on my screen for the first time ... Didnt immediately

understand what are those stripes on the bird's body ... Heh ...

Rejith, This is beautiful.  I notice that there are little spots of white (feathers or down?) floating in the water.  Would it help if those were removed by using the background black as a retouching color?

Thanks for your visit and your kind words ... Yes, it would help definitely and in some cases I used to clone away the feathers to get the same effect. In this one and the last posted image, the feathers were intentionally left that way. I have tried increasing the contrast in this one (so the water becomes dark) and then remove the feathers, but then then I thought those ripples in water might be lost, and without them the design on the bird wont make any sence.
