Thank you for viewing and for the appreciation.Agree that the framing is tight; Iwent this close to avoid the the other boats that are butted tight to each other at this time of loading up the fishing gear.

Nice angle Laurent! It would be nice to see the same boat in the end of the season (and the other boats too...) to compare the colours and the rust after the fishing activity...It would be nice also if you may go with the fishermen to "catch" the real "lobster activity"...(sorry Laurent but I don't know how long they are out of the harbour...).

I am curious about the french flag in the trawler...why is it Laurent?

Thanks my friend, take care!

Thank you for taking a close look and for your observation. These "Crab" boats are usually out for some 48-hours and I thought about going out/maybe will go eventually as I have been offered the possibility. You are right about the effects of the salt water on these boats but it is not extreme here as the boats are in the water but for a few weeks to fill the small quotas. This particular old boat will not suffer  very much as it is a wood structure. If you look closely, you will notice a yellow star on the tri-color flag;it is the "Acadian"flag and belongs to our french descent community of eastern Canada and the Cajuns of the southern USA.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
